Hey Guys!!

Briefly, I want to talk to you about something that is really important. Your mental health. Recently, I've been down and out and I've been fighting some demons of course, but who isn't? Nobody is perfect and we all live and learn.

As I am going into my mid 20's, I am still fighting my demons from when I was 10 years old. I was "diagnosed" with PTSD, anxiety, and depression as a professional therapist would say, but since I became a Buddhist I was taught that those things were just things that people will say, its more a psychological thing; to make you believe that you have a mental illness.

If you have childhood trauma like me, you may see yourself going through rollercoasters of emotions, or have that "dark cloud" in your head. When these things happen, you are not focused, moody, or just don't have any motivation at all. It's okay to experience this. I'm here to tell you and myself that it will get better, it will take some time but all good things come in due time.

In order to move forward, you have to face what's troubling you, do not run away from it. If you keep seeing existing patterns, or your wounds reopened consecutively, that means you haven't addressed them and its time. Do it for yourself, and your future.

Here's some things that I suggest you should try to help yourself heal:

  1. Pick a hobby - it can be anything as long as it is something that YOU enjoy.

  1. Take a break from Social Media - Social Media can drain you, you'll eventually find yourself comparing your life with others, which is NOT the best thing to do. Remember, you are the driver of your own lane, be easy with yourself everyone has a different time path.

  2. Take some time to be alone - If you feel all the anger build up inside you, give yourself space, and tell your homies its nothing personal, you need to be alone. Reminder, hurting people can hurt people.

  3. Go outside with Mother Nature - Sometimes being in the house will have your aura feel claustrophobic, go outside and feel the wind. I like to walk in the trails.

  4. Talk to a Therapist - A professional can help direct different views of life and they make sure that you are on the right track.

6. Meditate - As a beginner, I love meditating. This can help you refocus and erase those bad thoughts away. Do it during mornings, nights, and full moons. When a full moon is out, lots of energies enter the body through the spiritual cord, which acts as a communication channel between the person and the divine. When the body is filled with spiritual energy, the size of the energy channels, the faster effects come. Why do you think people go cray cray during the full moon?

7. Yoga - This can reduce the stress and tension of your body. While you're doing this, take deep breaths.

I hope this can help, as I am learning to heal myself. Reminder, that you have a good support system as well, hold on to them and never let them go.
