I'm angry.

I'm angry because I experienced domestic violence at a young age

I'm angry because I've seen police more than my actual friends

I'm angry because every time I walk around my city with me and my friends, the police gotta stop us and ask if we were in a gang

I'm angry because I worked in places that I thought I could feel the culture, but instead, I was the "Again?!" one

I'm angry because I was beaten if I showed vulnerability

I'm angry because I watched how some white people look at me

I'm angry because people called me DSL

I'm angry because guys use to compare to lighter/Foreign skin girls

I'm angry because I had to tell my sister about her self when she was in handcuffs by the police, because of a school fight (SELF DEFENSE BTW)

I'm angry because I also got in trouble for SELF DEFENSE.

I'm angry because I was the "only black girl" in corporations and organizations

I'm angry because I have a TOXIC mother and I am afraid to go back home sometimes or tell the whole truth about my story, she will make my own family disown me

Im angry because I was molested, twice.

I'm angry because I never experience real love or how it works

I'm angry because my pride can be the devil

I'm angry because when I cry for help NO ONE helped me.

I'm angry because people took advantage of my kindness

I'm angry because I saw someone get shot at 10 years old

I'm angry because I was at gunpoint at 21 years old

I'm angry because when I showed that I am serious, I was either crazy or a "Bitch"

I'm angry because I was called "too urban"

I'm angry because white people wanna touch my hair

I'm angry because I saw how the child court services treat black fathers

I'm angry because I'm still fighting for my brothers and sisters for freedom and it's 2020.

So, please ask me again... why do I look so angry???
